Internal Development

Thematic table of the World Humanist Forum

“Silo”

For Universalist Humanism the idea of simultaneous transformation of the individuals and their immediate environment is a central idea. Moreover, it is considered impossible to conceive the change of one of the terms without the other since they are part of an indissoluble structure.

At a time of profound crisis of civilization, it is urgent the maximum influence of the ideas of Humanism with its emphasis in nonviolence, touching every human being and locality in the world.

Although the objective of the WHF is to study in depth the fundamental problems that affect as all, and to propose solutions to these problems from the perspective of the common person.

We need as well and simultaneously, to understand the origin and manifestations in our consciousness of the phenomena that make us unhappy. This extensive topic of study is what we include under the title of topics of ‘personal development’.

These studies allow us to gain a new perspective over ourselves, a new understanding and therefore the possibility to start ‘discovering’ and overcoming, important difficulties in day-to-day life. Working in our self-development while helping others to do the same gives a new meaning, energy and empowerment to our lives.

The source of these studies is the system of theory of practices that can be framed under Psychology, developed by Silo since 1969 within the body of doctrine known as Universalist Humanism.

Topics of discussion will include among others:

Theory of Revery and Revery Nucleus; Theory of Action and Principles of Valid Action; Levels of Consciousness; Centres; Attentional practices; The Internal Guide; Guided Experiences; Humanize the Earth; The Force; Universal Laws; Method…

Languages: the table language will be English aiming at simultaneous script translation into Spanish, French…provided by Google Meet (please consult with Ramiro)

Frequency: to be agreed by participants
